Cambodia is one of the most fascinating destinations in Asia, and the majestic Angkor Wat, is one of the most impressive sights in the world.

Its city of residence, Siem Reap, in the north of the country, is a fabulous standalone conference destination for small meetings, or an exceptional add on destination for a dual incentive programme to really add the wow factor to incentives in Asia.
Not only is it an incredibly impressive destination for corporate events, with surprisingly excellent air access from around the region, and an easy visa on arrival process, Siem Reap's infrastructure has become very sophisticated, making it easy to get to for delegates and incentive winners, with a wealth of choice of high end properties and internationally branded hotels.
Angkor was once the political, economical and religious centre of the mighty Khmer Empire, which at one stage even included much of what is now Vietnam, Laos and Thailand, and was the cultural heartland of Southeast Asia. Isolated from the outside world for decades, it was rediscovered only in the 1970's, when it was reclaimed from the jungle, for your guests to enjoy its majesty.
Experiencing a sunrise breakfast or a sunset cocktail, taking in its awe and majesty is utterly breathtaking. Exploring temple ruins on the back of an elephant or on a hot air balloon is the way to do it in style, but for the ultimate 'special something' dine in temple ruins in the complex with wonderful entertainment to indulge your guests.

And when you are all templed out, there's plenty more to keep your guests entertained. Wandering the laid back boulevards of the Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, enjoying the markets, or visiting the intriguing Ton Le Sap Lake which stretches all the way from Siem Reap to the capital.
Situated on the confluence of three mighty rivers, the Mekong, the Tonle Sap, and the Bassac, Phnom Penh is undoubtedly Indochina’s most charming capital city. The colonial heritage is still apparent in the crumbling French architecture, broad tree-lined boulevards and the ubiquitous baguette vendors. The many Buddhist pagodas have taken up their old traditions after the repression during the Khmer Rouge period. Saffron clad monks are again a common sight in the dusty streets. Life still has a slow pace in Cambodia’s capital. Daily activities are centred on the many bustling, colorful markets and high rise buildings are not dominating the skyline yet.

Cambodia has a rich artistic heritage, producing some of the finest handicrafts, ceramics and silks of the region. You can even participate in its artistic and culinary pursuits, enjoying art, craft and ceramic workshops, and try your hand at making (or just tasting) local culinary delicacies. Contemporary Cambodia has a lot more to offer groups than its ancient cultural heritage; undiscovered beaches, mighty rivers and dense tropical rainforests are wonderful to explore and CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities can be easily arranged to give invaluable support to the country and make your group's visit really worthwhile.
