MICE groups travelling to Hong Kong and beyond will, in the future be able to take advantage of a new Premium Economy product on Cathay Pacific Airways, (CX) creating a fourth class in cabins across its network.

In such altered business conditions, a Premium Economy cabin will appeal to clients looking to trade down from Business Class for their group travel, as well as those wanting to trade up from Economy.

The new seats will be rolled out in 2012 to compete with British Airways and Qantas Airlines, which already feature the popular cabin class.
